Website Traffic and Its Importance
A website that doesn’t generate traffic is doomed to fail. Today’s world is home to online businesses and their success depends on the volume of traffic they receive. Furthermore, there are many online and offline companies that can provide quality traffic. Find out how planning can help you increase traffic, how to rank your site, and how much it costs.
Types
There are two forms of traffic that can be found on a website.
- Direct: This is generated when a user directly enters a website address / URL into the address bar of their web browser.
- Organic: This is generated by search engine queries or clicks on links on other sites . Some analytics tools (like Google Analytics) can group referral individually. Campaign traffic is also part of organic traffic.
Your website can only receive these two types. The question is what is suitable for ranking a website. Of course, organic traffic is preferable to website ranking. This does not mean that you need 100% organic traffic, but a good website always has at least 70% organic traffic. As the name suggests, organic is considered to be real artificial traffic, while direct traffic is mainly generated by robots. Below the site ranking, look for other content called characteristics.
