How to Turn Off the Annoying Weather Widget in Windows 10
If you’ve turned on automatic updates in Windows 10, you’ll notice that some new, somewhat annoying news and weather widget have been added to your taskbar. This feature, called News and Interests, was added by Microsoft to Windows 10 in version 1909 and fixes all Windows 10 issues, including inconsistent design elements, unwanted plugins, and junk.
Taskbar widgets look a little blurry and clunky when compared to high-res elements.
Fortunately, they are easy to remove weather widget.
Here are the steps :
Right-click anywhere on the Windows 10 taskbar. To the left of the clock is the network connection icon in the lower-right corner of the News and Interests screen.
Click Disable. We are sorry that you have decided to remove this widget. To undo this action, right-click in the taskbar and choose Messages and Warnings> Show Icons And Text. You will also see the option to only display icons. This option only displays weather symbols, not text.
In addition, if you hover your mouse pointer above the weather widget, a large panel with news and weather information will appear. You can disable just the news section of the widget if you only want the weather. Hope this tricks was helpful to you
